Nastija G. - Interview
I met Nastija online when I stumbled across some outstanding snapshots of her and her friends celebrating Nastija’s 16th birthday in Klaipeda, one of the most important cities in Lithuania. I had to ask her for a short interview and she was kind enough to take some time answering my questions… thanks again, Nastija, and hope to hear and see a lot more from you, soon!
Nastija, you just turned 16 – how did you celebrate your birthday?
I celebrated my birthday with my friends at home and on the seaside - it was the best party in my life.
You and your friends look amazing together – where did you meet and for how long do you know each other?
Karina is my classmate, we know each other for about a year now. I met Anastasija last year at school.
Tell us something about your background!
My parents are born in Lithuania, but my father is partly Russian – my mother is Lithuanian.
You live in Lithuania, one of the booming and young Baltic States: What do you like best about Lithuania and what are the things you don’t like about your home country?
I like the sea, the beaches, the nature here - it is amazing, although the water in the sea is not as warm as we would like it to be.
If you had the choice where to live: Which country would be your favourite? And why?
I would choose Spain or the UK. I like Spain because it’s warm there and the nature and people there are fascinating. As for England, it is a country where I would like to continue my studies.
Do you like travelling? Which places did you already visit (internationally)?
Of course I like to travel, I have already visited Germany, Estonia, Latvia, Russia, Turkey, Egypt, Thailand.
Which places do you like to see next or the most?
Any places I haven’t been yet!
What was the most exciting or most special moment in your life?
One of the last special moment in my life was when I participated in a beauty and talent contest in 2008 where I was awarded “Miss Elegancija”.
Where do you see yourself in ten years (what are you doing then / where are you living / will you be married or working as a successful single business woman)?
Within the next ten years I want to finish my studies in economics in the United Kindom. I would like to stay and live in this country or go somewhere else as well. And “marring”…, I can`t tell you anything specific because I want to focus on my career first.
What is your favorite piece of clothing?
I like all peaces of clothing. I also set a high value on enhancement of clothing! In my opinion, it`s more important to have your own style than to blindly follow the mainstream fashion trends.
Thank you very much…!
